I am a philosopher working mainly in political philosophy and (applied) ethics. My current research interests are the ethics and political philosophy of parenthood, individual moral responsibility in collective contexts, ideal and nonideal theory, climate justice, and feminist liberalism. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Zurich in 2014 and worked as a postdoc at the Universities of Graz (2015-2018) and Bern (2018-2022). I took up a position as assistant professor at the University of Basel with my SNSF-funded research project „Just Parenthood: The Ethics and Politics of Childrearing in the 21st Century“ in 2023.
